Meet the Team

Bob Fuller

He started the company in 2005, but has over 20 years in the trucking insurance industry. Prior to Fleet Risk, Bob graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia. He also worked in the airplane sales business for several years and has his own pilot’s license. When Bob decided to start Fleet Risk Management, there was only one producer, Bob himself. Bob has an incredible affinity for relationship building, and quickly built the company into what it is today from the ground up. He has expanded the business to include several different areas of the commercial transportation industry, as well as, continued to bring in more producers and employees to keep our company growing! Every day the entire office has a morning meeting where Bob always asks the same question “What is hassling us today?” This question encompasses the way Bob runs the business; he is always looking for how we can better ourselves. He is one of the most generous and compassionate people you will ever meet, and is always ensuring his employees and clients are well taken care of. If Bob ever left Fleet Risk, we may find him working at a stand-up comedy club. We’re always in for a laugh with him around!

Bob is very active outside of work. He is an avid cyclist, enjoys driving around the country, and hunting. In addition, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and beloved dog, Tom.

Burt James
Non-Fleet Manager

Burt James is a long-term member of the Fleet Risk Team, his time here only exceeded by our owner. He joined our company in March of 2007. Burt is the non-fleet manager and a producer, having spent many years building his clientele, learning about the best markets, and dedicating his time combining the two. Incredibly determined, Burt works around the clock to get the finest quotes which maintains a devoted client base he continues to expand! His knowledge and leadership flourish here at Fleet Risk, making him a go-to for help or answers for other employees. Burt enjoys his work, which is obvious to anyone who catches him having a spirited conversation with one of our insureds. He welcomes each day with a can-do attitude, and puts maximum effort into performing at his highest potential. Burt’s time off is spent building joyful memories with his wife Jenn and their son born in September of 2016. He also enjoys physical activities such as CrossFit, fishing, hunting and his new hobby: gardening!

Tory Bolinger
Account Manager

Tory joined Fleet Risk Management in April of 2014 as the Customer Service Team’s Manager. Before moving to St. Simon’s Island, she worked at The Home Depot for over 10 years, where she managed the Customer Care Team in Atlanta, GA corporate headquarters and Human Resources at a local store here in Brunswick. She is a proactive leader always looking for ways to improve and provide better service to our clients. It is rare that she doesn’t have all of the answers, but if not, she makes sure to do everything she can to gather information to provide to other employees as well as our customers. Passionate about her career and with her expanding expertise, Tory creates an uplifting environment for the rest of her team and a drive to be as helpful as possible. Tory is married to one of our producers, George, and together they have two children, Finn and Eva. Outside of work, you may find her working out at Crossfit, doing yoga, or spending quality time with her family.

Missy Worth
Operations Manager

Missy joined the Fleet Risk lineup in January 2008. She was recommended by one of our owner’s friends for the position, as she has many outstanding skills! Missy has a long and rich history with customer service and accounting. Joining the team originally as the non-fleet customer service representative, she quickly traveled up the ladder through her willingness to learn and effortless leadership skills.  Missy’s knowledge of all things business and insurance, makes her the perfect fit for our Operations Manager. She runs the business side of our operation, as well as assists with customer service, accounting, and IT. Her dedication to our company is unparalleled; Missy always goes the extra mile to make sure we are successful both personally and professionally.

In her off time, Missy enjoys all things physical! She is an avid runner, enjoys yoga, and cherishes time with her family.

Susan Petersen
Fleet Marketing Manager

Susan Petersen is a long-term member of the Fleet Risk Team, she joined the company in 2010.  She is originally from Wisconsin, but has lived in the south long enough to call it home!  Susan is the fleet marketing manager and works hard to obtain great quotes for our fleet sized clientele.  She has an excellent reputation with our insurance market partners for submitting complete & accurate information, which in turn generates the most favorable quotes for our clients.  Susan  has many years of both insurance and finance experience.  She shares her knowledge with the other members of the marketing team, and together they work like a well-oiled machine. 

Susan’s time away from the office is usually spent outdoors and enjoying family.

Bo Doss

Bo Doss began his journey at Fleet Risk in August of 2010. He spent the 15 years prior in the restaurant business, where his communication, multitasking, and management skills bloomed. Bo is profoundly versed in the insurance business, having graduated in 1993 from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a B.B.A in Risk Management and Insurance. Bo’s lively and playful temperament makes him a joy at the office and to his clients. He takes the time to build long-lasting relationships; using his authenticity and humor help build that foundation. His goal is to always serve his clients with first-rate service to best serve their needs.  Bo’s hobbies outside of the office include fishing, shooting, and anything else outdoors! With family first, his perfect day would be spending time with his lovely wife and their son, Jackson. Bo’s goal is to bring joy to every situation, living each day as if it were his last.

Buck Fuller

Buck was born into the Insurance Industry. From an early age, he always had an idea he would be following in the footsteps of his dad, Bob. After gaining outside experience in the insurance industry, Buck officially joined the Fleet Risk Team in February of 2018. Buck attended Georgia Southern University where graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

Buck’s calm and agreeable demeanor makes him a great co-worker at Fleet Risk, but that doesn’t mean he’s not competitive and incredibly hard working at what he does. His clients always appreciate his knowledge of the business and his dedication to taking care of them.

When he’s not working, Buck enjoys spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing. Buck was recently engaged to his girlfriend, Kortney, and is planning a wedding for Fall of 2019.

Ann Mugford

Ann Arrants Mugford is a Trucking Specialist and a skilled Property and Casualty agent licensed in multiple states. She specializes in the commercial transportation industry for fleet trucking, auto transporters and towing. She has a Business Administration and Management Degree as well as a Paralegal Degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance and Securities Law. Ann has clients locally, statewide and nationally. She is available 24/7 for her clients and works to build long-term relationships with each of them. She believes in service within the community and industry is a priority and her involvement have included CASA Advocate for Children and past recipient 40 Under 40 Award from the Business Report & Journal in 2007. Originally growing up in coastal North Carolina, Ann now lives with her family on South Newport River in McIntosh County, GA. She enjoys offshore fishing, diving, spearfishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, traveling and having fun adventures with her family. 

George Bolinger

George joined the Fleet Risk Management team in August of 2013 as a Producer in the non-fleet department. George is a veteran in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Fleet Risk, George graduated from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a B.B.A in Risk Management and insurance. His attention to detail, competitive nature, and vast knowledge about the insurance business always ensures he is getting the finest quote with the proper coverages for his clients. In addition to insurance, George played competitive soccer, as well as coached the local high school soccer team and several competitive travel teams. Outside of work, George’s competitive nature follows him to the Crossfit gym-where it is probable to find him at the top of the leaderboard for the daily workout. George’s free time is spent enjoying activities with his wife, Tory, and their 2 children, Finn and Eva.


Hannah Cody
Non-Fleet Marketing Manager

Hannah Cody’s story began with Fleet Risk in 2013. Hannah’s experience with insurance, accounting, and customer relations has made her an invaluable member of our team. Before her switch to insurance, she had a career in personal banking. Hannah also has 5 years’ of insurance experience, making her a veteran in the industry. She is fully capable of taking on any task, including assisting our 4 non-fleet producers obtaining new business quotes, completing proposals, and paperwork to bind coverage. One may consider her the backbone of our marketing team! She also assists with the renewal process of all non-fleet accounts. In addition to her full plate, Hannah makes sure to always be available when help is needed.

Hannah is a true outdoors person! In her free time she enjoys fishing, boating, and going to the beach with her family.

Mary Margaret Curtis
Account Manager

Mary Margaret is a St. Simons Island native who joined her dad and brother in the family business in August of 2018. Coming from a 5 year career in Children’s Ministry, she shifted gears and joined the Customer Service Team at Fleet Risk where she loves talking to clients and is still able to use her people skills and passion for helping people. Mary Margaret attended Georgia Southern University and was very involved in campus ministry, eventually working as a mentor for college students. She is a proud Alum of Georgia Southern with a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing and Linguistics.

When she’s not working, you can find Mary Margaret spending time with her family, her husband Ben, and her Golden Retriever, Nellie. She enjoys baking, shopping, home decorating and writing. Mary Margaret and Ben have just had their first child, Mary Powell in December.

Caitlin Steed
Fleet Account Manager

Caitlin started working at Fleet Risk Management as a Customer Service Representative in August of 2014. She comes to us from a paper company where she managed the front-end operations. The skill of multitasking was a must at her previous position and has served her well here at Fleet Risk. With a genuine and altruistic demeanor, Caitlin helps our clients feel welcome and right at home. She never meets a stranger, and enjoys joking with and talking to our clients. She always does whatever it takes to make sure our customers are happy and satisfied.

Caitlin is very busy outside of work! Caitlin volunteers with young women, plays on an adult softball league, works out at Crossfit, does yoga and was even the lead singer in a band!

Rachael Lemmon
Account Manager

Rachael is the newest member of the Fleet Risk Management Team! Rachael moved to St. Simons in 2015 from South Carolina, and came to us in November of 2017. She has extensive customer service experience, including the two years previous as a teller at a local bank. Rachael brings a light and positive attitude that she willingly shares with others in hopes to brighten their day. Her happiness and optimism can be felt by all who interact with her and is a welcome contribution to the office. She is the true definition of team-player. With these enduring and endearing qualities, combined with her hard work and determination, she is a perfect addition for the Fleet Risk Customer Service Team!

Outside of work, Rachael is very passionate about her animals; a dog and cat named Bruiser and Cash.

Bridget Thumser
Sr. Account Manager

As a native of Glynn County, Georgia, Bridget knows no strangers! She joined the Fleet Risk Management team in March 2018 as a part-time non-fleet account manager. Soon, Bridget was recruited to come on board full time. In June 2020, Bridget became the manager of the non-fleet account management team. Bridget uses the organizational, communicative, and customer service-oriented skills learned as a former Starbucks Barista and Shift Manager, and applies them to the Customer Service Department. Bridget graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S in Communication.
Bridget has a way of connecting with her customers; she genuinely makes them feel as a true part of the team. Both of Bridget’s parents were in the trucking business, so she has a unique perspective of an owner/operator as well as company drivers. She has a positive can-do attitude, an eye for details, and a dash of determination.
Bridget enjoys crossfit, gardening, being an aunt to her niece and nephews, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her cat, Opie.



Casson Mitchell
Non-fleet Marketing

Casson joined our team in August of 2020. Originally from North Carolina, Casson moved to the Golden Isles in 2015. Casson brings a great depth of relationship building and the heart to help others from a background of volunteering with nursing homes as a young adult. Casson also brings an abundance of passion to assist people in their everyday lives which is our goal here at Fleet Risk. Casson believes customer service satisfaction is the highest priority and puts forth all efforts to contribute that to our clients. Casson’s traits of multitasking and determination make for a great fit at our business where we seek to strive in all work done. Her positivity shines and is felt by all interactions. Casson has been a great addition to our well-rounded team.
Outside of work, Casson enjoys making the most of everyday. She loves spending time doing all things outdoors with her family, traveling and cooking in the kitchen!


Sydney Joseph
Account Manager

Sydney came to Fleet Risk in April of 2021 and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Prior to joining us, Sydney had eight years of restaurant experience where she exceled in multi-tasking and customer relations. Since bringing her profound skills to our account management team, she has quickly gained an abundance of knowledge in the field. Her professional, light-hearted and positive attitude make our clients feel secure and at ease. Her ability to take on challenges and attention to detail provides a significant benefit in successfully serving our insureds. Additionally, Sydney has shone brightly among her peers, having already been recognized for her indisputably positive attitude.
Sydney is currently pursuing her degree in Business at the College of Coastal Georgia. When not working, she enjoys taking her cherished dog, Sadie, to the beach, going on bike rides, painting, and spending quality time with her family.


Allie Howard
Account Manager

Allie is the newest member of the Fleet Risk Management Team! Allie recently moved from Nashville, TN in July 2021. She has previous experience in customer service including four years in property management. Allie is devoted to helping clients and providing them with exemplary customer service. Allie is a versatile force and has already dived headfirst into learning all things trucking. She has steadily become a dependable part of our operation. Having an affinity for relationship building, Allie has proven to be an eager and capable representative we are glad to have providing insurance to our beloved clients.
Allie graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies. Outside of work, Allie enjoys getting together with friends, spending time with her husband Trevor and playing with her new golden retriever puppy, Eddie.


Anne Marie Smith

Anne Marie is a native to Saint Simons Island and novice to the insurance industry. After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a degree in public relations, Anne Marie spent the first three years of her career working in public relations and event planning in Atlanta, Georgia. Her skills of crisis management and communication she acquired from the industry have allowed her to become a valuable asset to the Fleet Risk marketing team. Additionally, her experience in event planning has translated well to the party planning committee here in the office. From low country boil and bingo to Christmas soirees, Anne Marie always has a plan to celebrate! Outside of work, Anne Marie is a self-proclaimed coffee critic. She tries and reviews new coffee shops and drinks and shares them on an Instagram page called “Esspressco”. When she is not caffeinating, Anne Marie enjoys traveling with her husband Landon and spending time with her family.

Ashley Hardwick
Administrative Assistant

Our crew became ever stronger when Ashley joined in January of 2021. Collectively, she has 13 years of customer service and training experience, motivating others and creating educational materials including lesson plans, daily reports in addition to grading. If there is ever a problem that needs solving, Ashely is our go-to teammate. She ensures our office functions efficiently and successfully by always saying yes and having a confident and positive attitude. We have yet to have an issue she cannot resolve, either immediately or after taking the time to find the resources to do so. Combined with her warm personality, her dedication and work ethic has permeated our environment creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Beyond work, Ashley enjoys and is devoted to spending time at home with her family, most importantly her only child, Aiden, who is her world. When she has time, she also enjoys traveling and taking road trips!


Jami Vahn
Account Manager

Jami is an Account Manager with Fleet Risk Management where she enjoys working with our clients to grow and maintain relationships and policies. She joined our outfit in 2019. Having a history in customer service and business management, she excels in both customer and inter-office relations providing unmatched service and kinship. Consistency is an unwavering quality of Jami’s; we have to force her to take a day off! That dependability influences our entire team to be better.
Jami is a Southeast Georgia native who studied at South University. She is a dedicated mother and avid gardener who knows work ethic and consistency are the keys to long term-growth.
